The onsen water in the Niseko region is denoted in the top 40 onsens in Japan. There are 19 different onsen areas surrounding Mt Annupuri that boast amazing onsen water. The Vale Niseko onsen is known as a Kakenagashi hotspring. This is one of the most desirable types of onsen as the hot mineral water is not filtered or reticulated. The water flows through the bath and back into the ground where it is filtered naturally by the stoney subsoils before making its way back into the natural reservoirs that feed the onsen, naturally repeating the process.
The onsen in The Vale Niseko is a Natrium based Calcium and Magnesium enriched bath. It is naturally carbonated and provides bathers with a premium bathing experience.
